What is it?
A monthly lottery to raise funds for the running of our village
hall. The lottery is registered with Sedgemoor District Council
under the Gambling Act 2005
What are the prizes?
There will be five cash prizes each month, which will total 50% of
the monthly takings “the prize fund”.
When is the draw?
The draw will be held at the end of each month at a Spaxton venue.
Watch notice boards or your email for the exact date, time and
location.
How much goes to the Hall?
50% of the ticket price minus admin costs, which we hope will be
negligible other than the licence, will go to the upkeep of the
hall. The other 50% will make up the prize fund.
How do I enter?
You can obtain tickets by phoning Jan on 01278 671376 or Alison on
01278 671485.
It will cost £20 to join for a whole year (or you can pay in
quarterly instalments of £5 in August, November, February and May
or by monthly, quarterly or annual instalments if paying by
standing order).
How will I know if I have won?
The winning numbers will be posted in Spaxton Post Office,
Watermans Garage, the Lamb Inn and on the notice boards, outside
the school, outside the Village Hall and in Spaxton News or you
can be notified by email. Also we will contact each winner at
their address.
